SFR Enterprises Names SPL Parts Inc. a Full-Season Sponsor in 2012 Pirelli World Challenge Series

SFR Enterprises today announced a new sponsor, SPL Parts Inc., for its GTS campaign during the 2012 Pirelli World Challenge Series. The two-car team, steering Nissan Motorsports 370Zs, will use SPL suspension parts in both cars during all eight races of the season.

Tristan Herbert signs with HPA Motorsports and RennGruppe

Tristan Herbert will be piloting one of two 2012 HPA/RennGruppe Volkswagen Jetta GLIs in the 2012 Pirelli World Challenge. Herbert exploded onto the pro racing scene in St. Petersburg last year setting the pole and winning the race. His accomplishments continued throughout the season as he amassed five podium finishes and culminated with earning the 2011 Pirelli World Challenge Touring Car Rookie of the Year. Grassroots Motorsports Magazine awarded his team’s independent privateer efforts with an Editor’s Choice Award as one of the Top 20 Achievements for 2011. ...More

2011 Champ Cooper Ready For Pirelli World Challenge With AMG

2011 SCCA Pro Racing Playboy MX-5 Cup Champion Michael Cooper and Atlanta Motorsports Group are ready to take on the world - Pirelli World Challenge, that is. No sooner had the 2011 season ended did the plans for 2012 began at the shops of Atlanta MotorSports Group (AMG).  The first task was hiring professional racer, columnist and webcast show host, Jim Daniels, as team coach.  The second task was finishing one last race at the 25 Hours of Thunder Hill in which the team scored a victory in the EO class.  Task three was securing Brad Adams and his Ford Boss 302 Mustang Pirelli World-Challenge GTS program. Task four was securing Michael Cooper and his MAZDASPEED3 Pirelli World Challenge Touring Car program, factory supported by Mazda USA. ...More
